Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family.
Here at Rock Church, we care about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. We are a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
Where we come from
Rock Church was started in 1971 by two brothers - Ted & Paul Yuke. We grew rapidly within a few years, and by 1978 it was necessary to build our current church building. Over the past four decades we've seen countless lives changed by the presence of God and the message of the Gospel.
Where we're headed
At Rock Church we filter every idea, program and expenditure through our vision. If what we plan doesn't help us meet our vision, then we don't do it.
Our vision is to reach one percent of Nova Scotia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will do this by raising up hundreds of leaders to carry the culture of God's Kingdom throughout the seven regions of our province through strategic church planting and partnerships.
